How do I work? Customer Focus: A Modern wedding reception or partnership event is more sophisticated than the ones we held even three years ago. Rarely is it now acceptable to turn up on the night with a van full of equipment having never met the Bride or Groom and deliver a generic set of tried and trusted favourites.
I will talk with you at some length, I’ll be surveying the venue, we will discuss music, lighting even my attire and I’ll make sure you can have everything you want to make your perfect day just that.
You owe it to yourself to get the right entertainment for your Magical Night, the reception forms over half of your Magical Day and because its the last thing your guests experience, it’s the thing they are most likely to remember. “Long after the colour of the car has been forgotten, long after the taste of the cake has been washed away with your wine, the right entertainment will thrill your guests and send them home happy.”
Equipment: The equipment I use for an 18th birthday party is not going to impress your guests at a smart wedding in a prime location. This is YOUR magical night, not a showcase for my mobile nightclub. Tasteful lighting colour matched to your theme, hidden stands and wiring, room uplighting and a clear but discrete sound system are going to keep the attention on the star of the show, YOU.
Costs: At Magical Nights, my highest priority is satisfied customers. If this means I need to spend a full day at a venue getting it right for you, then this is what happens, it has to be right, you only get one shot at it. Typically the entertainment that keeps your guests happy and dancing and sends everyone home with a smile costs less than the Celebration Cake or the Champagne toast. Of course you need to keep costs down, but seriously, how important is the evening function that makes up around half of the special day? I will discuss briefly your requirements and offer you a quotation based on them, no pressure, no call back.
You can always find a cheap disco, you can’t recreate your “Special day”.
Booking multiple services will of course get you a discount, but I don’t “price match” any more than another entertainer will “quality match” my offering.
Area Covered: Many of my colleagues will tell you they work “anywhere”. Well I won’t because I strive to be 100% reliable 100% of the time. I dont subcontract your booking and I won’t take a booking that will be out of a manageable distance from my base in Derby.
Spreading out from Derby, I cover Nottingham , Leicester, Burton on Trent, Ashby de la Zouche, Loughborough, Chesterfield and up to the edges of Birmingham to the South, Sheffield to the North, Stoke to the West and Grantham to the East .
Recent work has seen me in Pride Park Stadium, Derby Conference centre, Makeney Hall, The Derbyshire Hotel, The New Bath Hotel, Ringwood Hall, Leicester Tigers Stadium, Nottingham Forest FC, the Birmingham Metropole, the Crowne Plaza at the NEC and lots of smaller venues like the exclusive Shottle Hall, Blackbrook House, Hassop Hall and the 400 year old Tissington Hall, home of Sir Richard FitzHerbert and a stunning wedding venue..
